Quran and Science

The following video is showing the facts science have recently found which was mentioned over 1400 years ago in the Quran.

Allah Almighty Said:

"We will soon show them Our signs in the Universe and INSIDE THEIR SELVES, until it will become quite clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?

(The Noble Quran, 41:53)"

Point 1

The mountains, like pegs, have deep roots embedded in the ground.  (Anatomy of the Earth, Cailleux, p. 220)
Allah Almighty said: "Have We not made the earth as a bed, and the mountains as pegs?  (The Noble Quran, 78:6-7)"

Point 2

The modern theory of plate tectonics holds that mountains work as stabilizers for the earth.  This knowledge about the role of mountains as stabilizers for the earth has just begun to be understood in the framework of plate tectonics since the late 1960’s

Earth, Press and Siever, p. 435.  Also see Earth Science, Tarbuck and Lutgens, p. 157.

He the Almighty also said: "And He has set firm mountains in the earth so it would not shake with you....(The Noble Quran, 16:15)"

Point 3

The Origin of Universe
Reference from the Quran 21:30: For the unbelievers not realise that the heavens and the earth used to be one solid mass that exploded into existence.

This very information is exactly what they awarded the 1973 Noble Prize for. The Quran reveals the origin of the universe – how it begun from one piece and mankind continues to verify this revelation even up to know.
The scientist call it the “big bang theory”. And the most of the worlds scientist are in common agreement that they have found enough evidence to agree with the big bang theory which has been mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago.

Point 4

Reference from Quran:  (Surat Al-Anbiyaa – The Prophets: 30)

“We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?"

All living organisms are made from cells and about 60 - 80 % of the cells contain water.

Point 5

Reference from Quran:
Iron is one of the elements highlighted in the Quran. In the chapter known Al-Hadeed, meaning Iron, we are informed:

“And We also sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind…” (Quran 57:25)

According to modern astronomy, cosmology, and physics, iron, like all naturally occurring elements, is made in stars, from the fusion of smaller elements. Fred Hoyle (British astronomer) proposed what's called 'nucleogenesis', or formation of elements in the stars. Hydrogen plus Hydrogen makes Helium; then on to Lithium, Carbon, Nitrogen, etc. Iron is the last element a 'normal' star can make. All elements heavier than Iron are made in the explosion of a supernova.

Point 6

Natural barrier between seas

The Holy Quran mentioned that there is a barrier between two seas that meet and that they do not transgress. God said: He has let free the two seas meeting to gather. There is a barrier between them. They do not transgress. Quran 55:19-20

Scientific Reference:

Modern Science has discovered that in the places where two different seas meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier divides the two seas so that each sea has its own temperature, salinity, and density.

For example, Mediterranean Sea water is warm, saline and less dense, compared to Atlantic Ocean water. When Mediterranean Sea water enters the Atlantic over the Gibraltar sill, it moves several hundred kilometers into the Atlantic at a depth of about 1,000 meters with its own warm, saline and less dense characteristics. The Mediterranean water stabilizes at this depth.

Point 7

Separation between fresh (sweet) and salt water

Reference from Quran

Allah said in the Quran: He is the one who has let free the two bodies of flowing water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter. And He has made between them a barrier and a forbidding partition. Quran 25:53

Scientific Reference:
Modern science has discovered that in estuaries, where fresh (sweet) and salt water meet, the situation is somewhat different from what is found in places where two seas meet. It has been discovered that what distinguishes fresh water from salt water in estuaries is a “pycnocline zone with a marked density discontinuity separating the two layers.”

Point 8

The Cerebrum

 Quran reference:

Allah said in the Qur’aan about one of the evil unbelievers who forbade the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) from praying at the Ka'abah:

Let him beware! If he does not stop, We will take him by the forelock (front of the head), a lying, sinful forelock! [Qur’aan 96 :15-16]

Why did the Qur’aan describe the front of the head as being lying and sinful? Why didn't theQur’aan say that the person was lying and sinful? Is there a relationship between the front of  the head and lying and sinfulness?

The arabic word Nasiyha means forelock.  If we look into the skull at the front of the head, we will find the prefrontal area of the cerebrum. What does physiology tell us about the function of this area? A book entitled,  Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology, says about this area: The motivation and the foresight to plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal lobes, the prefrontal  area. This is a region of the association cortex...  The book also says: In relation to its involvement in motivation, prefrontal area  is also thought to be the functional center for aggression...

So, this area of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivating, and initiating good and  sinful  behavior, and is responsible for telling lies and speaking the truth. Thus, it is proper to describe the front of the head as lying and sinful when someone lies or commits a sin, as the Qur’aan said: ...a lying, sinful aasiyyah (front of the head)!

Point 9

The  fingertip unique to each

FINGERPRINTS

"Does man think that WE Cannot assemble his bones? Nay, WE are able to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers."   [AL-QUR'AN 75:3-4]

Fingerprint in Quran

Unbelievers argue regarding resurrection taking place after bones of dead people have disintegrated in the earth and how each individual would be identified on the Day of Judgement. ALMIGHTY ALLAH answers thatHE can not only assemble our bones but can also reconstruct perfectly our very fingertips. Why does the QUR'AN, while speaking about determination of the identity of the individual, speak specifically about fingertips? In 1880, fingerprinting became the scientific method of identification, after research done by Sir Francis Golt. No two persons in the world can ever have exactly the same fingerprint pattern. That is the reason why police forces worldwide use fingerprints to identify the criminal. 1400 years ago who could have known the uniqueness of each human's fingerprint? Surely it could have been none other than the CREATOR HIMSELF!

Point 10

This is the Dead Body of Ramses II, The Egyptian King in the era of Prophet Moses (Peace be upon Him). Its age is approximately 3000 years old and it was found by the Red Sea, at the place called Jabalain, and is now on display in the Royal Mummies Chamber of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

The most amazing thing with this dead body is; it isn't a mummy. Scientists says that this dead body is amazingly preserved without any mummification, even all of the internal organs are not removed.

So what is the secret of such good preservation of this body? See the answer in the Holy Quran where Allah Almighty said that the Pharaoh will be preserved as a warning for generations.
