The following video by a former Christian Youth Minister giving ten reasons why Jesus Christ cannot be God.
The following will describe how the Christians have misunderstood their own Bible as there is not one statement in the whole Bible where Jesus states He is the God and people should worship him.
Point 1 Bible Reference Mark 12:29-30
One of the Jewish teacher asked Jesus of all commandments which is the most important
“The most important one,”answered Jesus,“is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
The words "our God" indicate that Jesus had a higher God over him, a stronger God than him. Jesus didn't say"Your God". He said "our God" which includes Jesus as the creation of GOD.
Point 2 John 20:16-17
This is what Jesus told one of his female disciples Mary by the tomb where they thought Jesus was buried she was suprised to Jesus standing and calling her by her name "Mary". She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”).
Jesus said "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.' "
If Jesus had the same God as his followers and he was not a God.
Point 3 John 8: 28-29
When the Jews were questioning Jesus about him being the Messiah (the last Prophet to the Jews) Jesus said,“When you have lifted upthe Son of Man, then you will know that I am he and that I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me.The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.”
This clearly shows that Jesus has been sent by God (a Prophet) speaking only what God has taught him and cannot do anything without the will of God. This clearly shows Jesus cannot be the God who has come down to Earth if so why would he need to be taught what to say and permission to do things.
Point 4 John 14:28
If Jesus was GOD, then why in John 14:28 Jesus said "My Father (GOD) is greater than I"?
From this we can be clear that from Jesus himself has said God is greater than him. If God is greater than him than they must be different to each other, the greater one being the creator and Jesus being the created one.
Point 5 Mark 15:34
This is what happens in the Bible when Jesus was on the cross.
"And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"
If Jesus was the God why would he cry out My God My God why have you forsaken me. This clearly shows he is not a God but a servant of the One.
Point 6 Matthew 24:36
When the disciples asked Jesus about the end of time he replied: "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Jesus told his followers that no one (including Jesus) knows when the judgment day will come, only GOD knows?
This clearly shows Jesus is not the God as God is All Knowing and Jesus does not know the time of the last hour.
SON OF GOD - TRUE MEANING
It is true that in Luke 1:32, he is called the son of the Highest and in 1:35, the son of God; but when God refers to Men as Sons he is not referring to them as his sons who grow up to be Gods like himself, but rather in an affectionate way to those who are obeying his commandments.
In many places in the Bible Son is mentioned for example: W e read: I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. (Psalms 82:6)
In numerous instances the expression son of God is applied to prophets, to the righteous and to believers. The following are only some examples out of many:
Israel is My son, even My first born. (Exodus 4:22)
Also I will make him (David) Myfirst born, higher than the kings of the earth. (Psalms 89:27)
He (Solomon) shall be My son, and I will be his Father. (1. Chron 22:10)
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. (Matt. 5:9)
Lot of Christians believe Jesus as God on the ground that in the Bible he is referred to as the Son of God if that was true then David, Solomon, Israel are all Son of God also millions of other men who are the peacemakers.
Bible Reference John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: formy Father is greater than I.
From the above versus from John we see that Jesus is referring to One God as greater than him. If father and Jesus was one as Christians believe than why would Jesus say that Father is greater than him. What Jesus said above is clearly a Muslim belief as all Muslim believe that God is greater ( Allah is Greater - Allahhu Akbar )
Bible Reference Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus
A PROPHETis a mediator between God and men who speaks to the latter in the Name of the Former (Deuteronomy 18:15-22). He is the God's mouthpiece and speaks only what he has heard by inspiration from God (Jeremiah 1:9; Isaiah 6:5-10; John 8:26), or what God has shown him by vision or dream (Numbers12:6; John 5:19-20)
From the reference we can see in Timothy he is referring to Jesus as Prophet not the God which is the belief of all the Muslims.
Luke 6: 12
12One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.13When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:14Simon (whom he named Peter), his brother Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew,15Matthew, Thomas, James son of Alphaeus, Simon who was called the Zealot,16Judas son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
From the versus in Luke 6: 12 we can see Jesus is praying all night to God. This clearly proves Jesus is not a God if he was which God was he praying to?
Praying to God was one thing all the Prophets did which clearly shows Jesus was a Prophet.
Luke Chapter 4
The Temptation of Jesus
1Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led around1by the Spirit in the wilderness
2 forforty days, being tempted by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they had ended, He became hungry.
3 And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.”
4 And Jesus answered him,“It is written, ‘Manshallnotliveonbreadalone.’ ”
5aAnd he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms ofthe world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said to Him, “I will give You all this domain andits glory;for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.
7 “Therefore if You1worship before me, it shall all be Yours.”
8 Jesus answered him,“It is written, ‘YoushallworshiptheLord yourGodandserveHimonly.’ ”
9And he led Him to Jerusalem and had Him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here;
10 for it is written,
‘He will command His angelsconcerning You to guard You,’
‘Ontheirhands they will bear You up,
So that You will not strike Your footagainst a stone.’ ”
12 And Jesus answered and said to him,“It is said, ‘Youshallnot puttheLordyourGodtothetest.’ ”
13 When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.
As you can see from the above Jesus was tempted by the devil. Christians believe that Jesus is the God and created everything. So if Jesus created everything he must have also created the devil. So how can a devil take him and tempt him with a Kingdom when Jesus if he was the God is the owner of all Kingdoms.
So if Jesus was a God than how can one of his creation the devil put him through such test.
This proves Jesus is not a God.
Luke Chapter 11
Instruction about Prayer
1It happened that while1Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples.”
2 And He said to them,“When you pray, say:
‘Father, hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
3 ‘Give useach day ourdaily bread.
4 ‘And forgive us our sins,
For we ourselves also forgive everyone whois indebted to us.
And lead us not intotemptation.’ ”
From the above we can see this is the most famous Christian prayer which Jesus himself prayed. So if Jesus was the God would he pray for his daily bread. Most of the food that gets eaten has to be excreted, could you imagine God excreting. God so Pure excreting how insulting is that to the Might God.
